Well if u r an IAS aspirant then u would have definitely come across Vajiram , delhi .. I had lots of doubts abt this …….

  • Its a professionally managed institute .
  • No library facilites and all only coaching .
  • Courses start from June .. The 2nd optional coaching is from June – Sept . Mains and first optional coaching from Oct to May .
  • You wont find people who have ditched their jobs and come there [ very very rare] .

In market u find class notes of all the subjects . It is worth to take a look at them , coz that compliments ur efforts . For all bangalore guys n gals .. if u need a copy of GS [ mains / pre  class notes of vajiram] and upendra’s sociology notes ( class notes ) contact me .. you can take a xerox copy !!

I m from Bangalore. Have a doubt regarding the medium option in Mains exam. do u know when it is asked from the canditate to choose a language/medium in which he has to answer the question paper is it in the respective question paper itself?

Candidates have the option to answer all the question papers, except the language papers, viz, Paper-I and Paper-II, in any one of the languages included in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution or in English.

does it mean that you could write each paper in either ur selected language or in english?

Hi Nishanth ..

The answer is “no” .

See the above clause which you have said ..means “medium ” of exam .

A candidate can choose any language in eight schedule as the medium ..( The language he is going to use in answering GS) .But you cannot change your medium from one language to another .

I had this specific problem . Coz I have taken sanskrit as my 2 nd optional and I wanted to give the paper in Kannada ( Coz in sanskrit some questions only demand to be wriiten completely in sanskrit) .

I am unable to do that coz , if i have to do that then i have to chnage my medium of exam to Kannada which means I have to give my GS in Kannada .

Since I am giving GS in English , sanskrit paper i am force to use English

Its not free ..Its at the cost of xerox ..If you get the xerox yourself it is free …

Very true .. Cent percent Economy and Polity … [ Kapuria and Ravindran]

..but trust me u gotts be there to get the core of it…so its better u go for the coaching rather than just buying notes!
Not every body has the time or the money to attend …
Cost == 40k not every one can afford …
Time == Not every one is from Delhi and .. Not every body can put full time !!

Notes helps those people ….
